The members of The Morgan County Tourism Alliance once again worked together to make the first, “A Tribute to King Pleasure Jazz Concert” a success. To those who worked to bring this event to Morgan County please know I appreciated the time, money and energy you used to make our county shine to those outside its boundaries. To those Patrons who contributed money and goods, thank you for your generosity. And, to those of you who attended my heartfelt gratitude for your coming. It was a perfect setting for a relaxing, entertaining and enjoyable evening. One to be repeated in coming years.
We invite you who are interested in growing the tourism visitation to our county to become a part of this active and purposeful organization. When we work together for a common cause great progress can be accomplished. Our intent is to focus and promote areas and communities within our county. Oakdale was the home of Clarence Beeks, known as King Pleasure. Tell us about your community and work with us to tell others what you already know.
Great job, MCTA. I am privileged to be a part of your purpose and encourage others to be a part of an exciting and fulfilling commitment to tourism progress.
